Peaceful Paths

This table runner for my formal dining is filet crochet & cable stitches! Well, actually front & back post stitches. I call them cables because that’s my inspiration for this piece. I’m fascinated with knitted cables. There just isn’t much of a demand for heavy woolen cable sweaters here in Texas though. One could wear them, maybe, once or twice a year.

Incorporating “cables” into filet crochet was intriguing. I like the clean, classic look, with a bit of texture to give it an updated appearance. It should add a nice complement to your dining table or side bar.
